Customer Service!! Yeah, rite!!
I just called up the LTA customer service to enquire on my hubby bike road tax. I was trying to renew his roadtax via the One-motoring. But it kept prompting that the bike is not insured.
So I called up LTA, go thru their menus. Then at last press '0' for CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER.
So I enquire, may I know why can't I renew my hubby roadtax.
She: What's the bike no.?
I: FXXXXX
She: Oh you have not renewed your insurance coverage.
I: I did yesterday
She (in a very angry tone): YOU SHLD HAVE RENEWED THE ROADTAX AT THE INSURANCE!!
I: I did yesterday.
She again repeated herself harshly.
I: I did yesterday at the AXS.
She (in a harsh tone) : SO U KNOW THAT OUR LTA IS NOT LINK UP TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY, SO MUST WAIT FOR 4 DAYS!! WHO AM I SPEAKING TO?!
I was like oh ok.. I said my name, then said thank you. But I felt that very angry!!
Is this customer service?? Oh my with the IMF coming, I wonder if the visitors would want to visit here again with such "Customer Service" Officer.
Fraid not!!..
Whoever you are, the Officer, you should mine your tone & treat your customer with respect. Or don't expect ppl to respect you...
