The journey to DnD
Tadi baru je balik dari DnD. Enjoyable. But before it, a really series of "darah up" events...
Event no. 1
Pagi aje dah kene from hubby cos lambat bgn, so he is late for work. Cranky, konon malas nak pegi DnD. So I didn't prepare for hubby baju la. Manalah tau dia malas nak pegi.
Anyway, I went to ofis, not in the mood to bring hubby. Tried calling him, but got the cold response. Malas nak layan..
Event no. 2
Since the due date of the invoice is 22 Jan, we had to give the required docs to Finance, at least 2wks before. But pasal my boss ni selalu MIA, so dia baru kasi notis to get approval on 8 Jan. Gila kape.. anyway, I had to rush to get all docs done to give to finance all tat. So sepatutnya u can leave ofis by 3.30pm, to prepare for DnD. I had to leave ofis only after 4.30pm.
Naik mrt, by the time I rch home was 5.30pm. We have to be at the DnD by 6.30pm. Mane lah sempat. Nasib baik I dah prepare the bajus except for hubby. So kol him, he suggested a few for his dressing. End up gosok 3 bajus.
Event no. 3
Alamak, already 6pm. Raining heavily lagi. Kene bawak kasut, baju, helmet etc. So amik cab lah.. Got into a trans cab. Masuk aje I told driver tat I want to go the fastest route. He say everywhere fast wat. I say ok, then use SLE-CTE. Along the way, he ask am I a teacher. I said no. Then, he ask where am I goin. I say I'm goin for DnD, but 1st have to go to my hubi's wk. He say the u dance ah. I say of cos not. Eat & Leave lah..
Then he showed his daughter's pics on his hp. I say wah this driver really love his children. Then he say she is from RGS. Her sister is at RJC. I say wat not bad ah(ya lah, cos the way he speak is like ah beng). He replied all the neighbours envy him cos he has clever & good children. He was supposed to go for a parent briefing as his daughter is going China or Taiwan for an exchange prog. But he asked his wife to go cos he has to work. (Drive taxi lah)
Event no. 4
Oh ya, forget to say that CTE was jam in the meantime he was blabbering.. & the way he drive his cab was like "Come on!! I'm late already!!" I was actually goin impatient. Haha anyway I was listening to radio thru my hidden earpiece. Guess wat worst can happen!! He say aiyah jam, never he has a medicine for it. I was thinking maybe sweet or something to munch. Rupenya opera cd. Those Opera songs.. oh no... nay way kept my cool.
Event no. 5
Ok he's driving into Upper Serangoon, the way to hubi's wk. Of cos hubi was getting impatient as it was already 6.30pm. & I was in the cab. Hubi somehow doesn't like to waste $$ unlike his wife.. kih kih.. Yes!! rching, can't wait to get off tis cab! Skali rch the destination, cab fare $16, he say takde $50 change. I say I have only $14 (small change). I was like wat!??@!
I told him why not u wait here. I go get the chg from my hubi. But he say he know a place to change $$ ard tat area. I was like hey I am late!! He kept saying he will charge me $16. I said ok, but I'm late. He drive into an accident scent. Kan dah nampak ade ambulance stop in front, bukan nak amik the next lane. He followed the traffic till rite behind the ambulance, baru nak lane chg... Urrgghhh!!!
Event no. 6
Then he drive around the area, till stop kat depan kedai mkn & said "Ok u ran inside & go get the change." I was like huh?? But I ran to the shop in the rain only to find the shop closed. I got back to the cab & shouted "THE SHOP IS CLOSED!! I AM LATE ALREADY!!". He said ok ok.. "I drive to u to ur hubi's wk. I charge u the $14. Where ah? Where ah?" I directed him, ask him to stop the cab. Shove him the $$ & bang the door real hard!!.. Nvr to turn back again.
Event no. 7
7pm!!! Rch aje kat hubi's floor, was asked to wait along the corridor. Hubi was asking why was I so late. Muka muncung. Shld I explain.. aaarrrggghh.. later. Waited tgk dah kol 7.15pm. Bila kluar, hubby tak bawak helmet. Rupenye he's lazy to ride. So got to get cab. Lot's of them waiting for cab, so had to kol one. Alamak... Waited until 7.30pm.
Event no. 8
Jalan besar was jam. So very impatient in the cab. But at least tis Driver just kept quiet. At last rch destination at 8pm. By that time lucky draw was closed. Oh ya, just in time for the food. Miss Director's speech as well.
Itu lah events yg berlaku sepanjang perjalanan ke DnD. hhaaiii.... *sigh*
